Rock Star Suite Launch PartyMay 12th, 2008 by Delpha
Are y’all ready for some exciting news? For those of you that did not have the distinct pleasure of joining us on Saturday May 3rd, Oral Fixation celebrated the launch of NEW flavor Peppermint Mocha! Yes, a new flavor plus a smashing party to boot! We decided to launch Peppermint Mocha our delicious chocolate espresso mint at the annual SCAA this year in Minneapolis, MN to give all of our coffee shop fans an exclusive first taste and throw an unforgettable party.
We chose to stay at the uber cool Chambers Hotel (we highly recommend) and Saturday night invited all of our dearest friends, hipster baristas, and coffee industry big wigs to the luxe Rock Star Suite for lots of mingling and mints. Complete with an enormous wrap around balcony, the Rock Star Suite was pretty much the coolest hotel room we’d ever been in and easily lent itself to be made over Oral Fixation style. As our guests arrived they sipped on Rhum Clement Mojitos, Svedka Vodka Cranberries, and our pod tub full of Summit Brewery IPA’s was such a hit it made the Top Ten countdown of things not to miss at the SCAA 2008.
The drinks flowed all evening and our kick ass server Mark passed around the yummiest hors d’oeuvres catered by the renowned Jean Georges. Henry talked up the guests, Eric served the drinks, and I worked the door as the menacing bouncer. Just kidding. It was truly an Oral Fixation love fest and everyone had such a fabulous time! If you live in the Twin Cities area be sure to pick up a copy of the June Issue of Twin Cities Luxury & Fashion. Party pics of our guests and a full wrap up will be featured in the Seen & Heard section, thanks to Nicole and all the editors! Until next time Minneapolis xoxo, Delpha |
Happy Hour with Oral Fix!May 2nd, 2008 by KristinaIn the recent May issue of Pregnancy & newborn, mom’s-to-be get their Fix with Mojito Mint. Unable to indulge in their favorite cocktails, Oral Fix Mojito Mint is served up, neat (sans-alcohol), as a perfect substitute for their favorite drinks. This refreshing Mojito Mint is the perfect flavor to give your mouth a little buzz without going to your head. Everyone raise a glass to Oral Fix and remember…Chew Responsibly. Cheers! |

Oral Fix at the Indian Film FestivalApril 25th, 2008 by KristinaHere we go again making an appearance in LaLaLand! The flashing lights of celebrity smiles and paparazzi bulbs really is addicting but this time we got in touch with our inner film buff at the LA Indian Film Festival. The festival is a cultural organization showcasing a combination of features, shorts and documentaries all devoted to promoting a greater appreciation of Indian cinema. Huge fans of Bollywood films we are excited to be supporting and joining in on the premiere of emerging talents by being included in the festival’s gift bags. |

It’s official, Oral Fixation Mints are the greatest mints ever. Well, we like to think so! But for the record Men’s Fitness has our back. Just open up the May issue and find us in feature The White Stuff. Get your mind out of the gutter; this article gives honest tips on making a great first impression with fresh breath and a perfectly white smile. Enter our very own Sugar-Free Tibet making its riskiest debut ever on camera, posing with no tin! So fresh and so very minty clean. The issue is on newsstands now, what are you waiting for? |
LA TASTEmakers event - of course we were there!March 27th, 2008 by KristinaHello again from the City of Angels! Last Tuesday, Los Angeles Magazine and Oral Fix celebrated the top L.A. Tastemakers featured in the 2008 issues of Los Angeles magazine. Guests included Los Angeles magazine VIPs and influencers – the people who determine the next hot trends in dining, entertaining, fashion, art – in other words, the really cool people in L.A. We were thrilled to be chosen to be a part of the VIP gift bags – we were definitely the talk of the night. It only seemed fitting that on a night honoring Tastemakers, we were there to make their night taste that much sweeter. After a night of rubbing elbows with L.A.’s finest, we even managed to drop our Valley Girl accent (okay, like almost…) XO |
Oral Fix at the Paige Denim EventMarch 5th, 2008 by KristinaWe get to do some pretty cool things over here at the Chocolate Factory but once in awhile, we take the cool on the road. Recently we were sited in the gift bags at the Paige Denim Event in LA. Needless to say, Paige Denim is one of our favorites – our tin fits so well into the back pockets We are like, totally far out and stuff! (sorry, all this LA talk made me channel my inner “Valley Girl”) Until next time! xo |

2 The Onion AV Club has been my favorite AV blog, since they wrote this review of the Twin Peaks DVD at the exact moment as I was rewatching/reliving life with the log lady. 3 We’re second fiddle to the new Mark Lanegan project on the top page. visit www.avclub.com |

Plaztikmag.com puts their spin on Oral FixJanuary 25th, 2008 by KristinaVery few people are as cool as us Oral Fixers (or so we like to think) but the folks over at Plaztikmag.com have truly outdone themselves. In their newest online issue, the ever-so-talented graphic artist Stanley Lambert put his signature on each of his favorite flavors in a pictoral spread that can only be described as, well, awesome! He is absolutely spot on with each of his inspirations – I have to say my favorite is Antioximint (pictured above). Definitely check out the site www.plaztikmag.com and check Oral Fixation out in all its glory. And go through all the bubbles (you’ll see what I mean…) – this is one site you will quickly become an avid reader of. Cheers to Stanley and the Plaztikmag team (thank you so much Mimi!), I think we have recruited a few more fans. Until next time! xo |
