First and foremost, congratulations to Torah Bright for winning the X Games Women’s Halfpipe! Torah was the co-sponsor of the FUZE Haven lounge at this year’s X Games in Aspen, CO and Oral Fixation was an excited partner of the gifting suite. Seen here with Joel Madden who DJ’ed the event Saturday night Torah, as well as, other celebs like Brad Ludden (Cosmo Magazine’s Hottest Bachelor of the Year) and Ryan Sutter (Yes! Trista + Ryan from the Bachelorette) received gift bags with lots of minty Oral Fix treats. While none of us are any good at winter sports we did learn one thing this year in Aspen…snowflakes on your tongue plus your favorite FUZE flavor tastes even better with a green tea or a mojito mint in your mouth! Oral Fixation’s Fabulous Fruit flavor made an appearance in this month’s issue of Good Housekeeping, who called it a “chic, evening bag essential.” We couldn’t agree more! Cell phones, keys and cash claim their share of pocket/purse real estate, always at a premium when heading out for the night. In cases like this, smaller is better – isn’t that part of the reason we all love our i-Pods? So sleek, so flat, so rectangle-without-the-sharp-corners. In fact, our tins are so low-profile, you could pack two, or even three flavors in the average denim back pocket. And you’d still be on the safe side of VTL (Visible Tin Line), cousin of the better-known, but equally heinous condition called VPL (Visible Panty Line). Just one more way Oral Fix keeps you on the straight-and-narrow.

Are y’all ready for some exciting news? For those of you that did not have the distinct pleasure of joining us on Saturday May 3rd, Oral Fixation celebrated the launch of NEW flavor Peppermint Mocha! Yes, a new flavor plus a smashing party to boot! We decided to launch Peppermint Mocha our delicious chocolate espresso mint at the annual SCAA this year in Minneapolis, MN to give all of our coffee shop fans an exclusive first taste and throw an unforgettable party.

We chose to stay at the uber cool Chambers Hotel (we highly recommend) and Saturday night invited all of our dearest friends, hipster baristas, and coffee industry big wigs to the luxe Rock Star Suite for lots of mingling and mints. Complete with an enormous wrap around balcony, the Rock Star Suite was pretty much the coolest hotel room we’d ever been in and easily lent itself to be made over Oral Fixation style. As our guests arrived they sipped on Rhum Clement Mojitos, Svedka Vodka Cranberries, and our pod tub full of Summit Brewery IPA’s was such a hit it made the Top Ten countdown of things not to miss at the SCAA 2008.

The drinks flowed all evening and our kick ass server Mark passed around the yummiest hors d’oeuvres catered by the renowned Jean Georges. Henry talked up the guests, Eric served the drinks, and I worked the door as the menacing bouncer. Just kidding. It was truly an Oral Fixation love fest and everyone had such a fabulous time! Here we go again making an appearance in LaLaLand! The flashing lights of celebrity smiles and paparazzi bulbs really is addicting but this time we got in touch with our inner film buff at the LA Indian Film Festival. The  festival is a cultural organization showcasing a combination of features, shorts and documentaries all devoted to promoting a greater appreciation of Indian cinema. Huge fans of Bollywood films we are excited to be supporting  and joining in on the premiere of emerging talents by being included in the festival’s gift bags.

It’s official, Oral Fixation Mints are the greatest mints ever. Well, we like to think so! But for the record Men’s Fitness has our back. Just open up the May issue and find us in feature The White Stuff. Get your mind out of the gutter; this article gives honest tips on making a great first impression with fresh breath and a perfectly white smile. Very few people are as cool as us Oral Fixers (or so we like to think) but the folks over at Plaztikmag.com have truly outdone themselves. In their newest online issue, the ever-so-talented graphic artist Stanley Lambert put his signature on each of his favorite flavors in a pictoral spread that can only be described as, well, awesome! He is absolutely spot on with each of his inspirations – I have to say my favorite is Antioximint (pictured above).

This morning I thought I’d share with our blog readers some exciting last minute ‘07 news to wrap up the amazing year we had. For all of those super last minute shoppers (you know who you are!) Good Morning America NOW invited on the show Cheryl Kramer Kaye, the Beauty Director at Redbook, to share her top inexpensive yet luxurious gift ideas. Check out the video of the segment and a recap here. Being featured on Good Morning America was the icing on the cake for us in 2007. As for 2008 we have some even bigger and better projects on the horizon so stay tuned to the Daily Fix!
